Vessel
Fabrication.
Pressure vessels, storage tanks, water tanks, and industrial process vessels — engineered to specification, fabricated to code, and hydrostatic tested before delivery. From 500-litre overhead tanks to 50,000-litre process vessels.
Vessels for every
application.
Water Storage Tanks
Overhead tanks, ground-level tanks, rectangular and cylindrical configurations for residential complexes, commercial buildings, and industrial plants. Capacities from 500 litres to 50,000 litres in MS or SS 304.
Industrial Process Vessels
Mixing tanks with agitator mounts, reaction vessels with jacket provisions, and chemical storage vessels. Designed for operating pressures up to 10 bar with appropriate corrosion allowance and nozzle reinforcement.
Fuel & Oil Storage Tanks
Above-ground diesel and oil storage tanks with bunded enclosures, breather vents, level gauges, and fill/drain connections. Designed to Petroleum Rules and OISD standards for safe fuel storage at industrial and commercial sites.
Custom Pressure Vessels
Air receivers for compressor systems, compressed gas storage vessels, and autoclave chambers. Designed to ASME Section VIII Div 1 or IS 2825 with third-party inspection and certification as required.
How every vessel
gets delivered.
Requirement Study
We study the fluid or gas to be stored, operating pressure and temperature, capacity, site constraints, and applicable codes. Every vessel starts with a clear specification document agreed with the client.
Engineering & Drawings
Shell thickness calculated per IS 2825 / ASME Section VIII. GA drawings, nozzle orientation, saddle or leg details, lifting lugs, and manhole positions finalised. All drawings issued for client approval before procurement.
Quote
Fixed-price quotation covering material, fabrication, testing, surface treatment, and delivery. No hidden charges for standard nozzles, legs, or test certificates. Timeline confirmed at this stage.
Material Procurement with Certs
Plates, pipes, flanges, and fittings sourced from approved stockists with original mill test certificates (MTC). Material grade verified against the approved drawing before cutting begins.
Fabrication & Welding
Shell rolling, dished end forming, nozzle fitting, and circumferential welding carried out in our workshop. Weld procedures qualified per ASME Section IX. Dimensional checks at every stage.
Testing & Delivery
Hydrostatic or pneumatic testing to 1.5x design pressure. Radiography or DPT on critical welds as required. Surface treatment applied, vessel loaded on trailer, and delivered to site with full documentation.
Technical
details.
Every vessel is engineered to code with thickness calculations, nozzle reinforcement checks, and weld procedure qualification before fabrication begins.
Common
questions.
What certifications do your vessels comply with?
We fabricate vessels to IS 2825 (Indian Standard for unfired pressure vessels) and ASME Section VIII Division 1 depending on client requirements. Weld procedures are qualified per ASME Section IX. We can arrange third-party inspection by agencies like TUV, Lloyds, or Bureau Veritas if required by your insurer or regulatory authority.
What testing is done before delivery?
Every vessel undergoes hydrostatic testing at 1.5 times the design pressure as standard. For vessels where water testing is not feasible, pneumatic testing is carried out with appropriate safety precautions. Critical welds are inspected by radiography (RT), ultrasonic testing (UT), or dye penetrant testing (DPT) depending on the code requirements and joint category.
Which materials are suitable for different chemicals?
Mild steel (IS 2062 Grade B) is suitable for water, diesel, and non-corrosive fluids. SS 304 handles most organic acids, food-grade liquids, and mildly corrosive chemicals. SS 316 is required for chloride-containing solutions, seawater, and aggressive chemicals like sulphuric acid at elevated temperatures. We recommend the material grade based on your specific fluid, concentration, and operating temperature.
How long does fabrication typically take?
Simple water storage tanks in standard sizes take 2-3 weeks from drawing approval. Process vessels with multiple nozzles, internals, and third-party inspection typically require 4-6 weeks. Pressure vessels requiring radiography and ASME code stamping can take 6-8 weeks. We confirm the exact timeline in the quotation based on your vessel specification.
Do you handle delivery and installation?
Yes. Small vessels (up to 3m length) are delivered on standard trucks. Larger vessels are transported on trailers with over-dimension cargo permits where required. We provide lifting lug calculations and rigging guidance for crane installation at site. Foundation bolt patterns and anchor plate details are included in the GA drawing for your civil contractor.
